New Shirts + New Podcast

Happy weekend everybody!

Here’s a quick commercial about two new and exciting ways to stay connected on this journey to plant a new church in London. We have some fresh new t shirts in and they’re going fast! ALSO, did you know Daniel Evans is also a moonlight DJ and technological wizard? Only half of that is true and the result is a new podcast! The guys are sharing more about the journey (and their silliness) over a weekly update. Don’t worry: the wives will be involved as well.

Here’s more about the fresh gear and podcast…

New Shirts

We have fresh London swag that serves a global purpose. We have a limited number of super comfortable shirts for sale. Every purchase goes directly to helping plant this church in London. These shirts are so much fun! We have a navy blue North Carolina state church with white lettering and on the back neck is LON-DON spelled out. We also have a grey shirt with LON-DON spelled out on the front and a North Carolina state flag with union jack on the back of the neck. Both of these shirts represent support of the move from North Carolina to London to plant a church that reaches the unreached.

We have sizes Small through XL available. Cost is $30 each plus $4 if you need it shipped to you. For the Raleigh-Durham crowd, you can pick up from our house or find Thomas in a coffee shop. Whether we personally know each other or not - these shirts are a great way to show your support and make an investment in helping plant this church. We know a one-time gift or recurring monthly contribution might not be a possibility for everyone but they still want to be involved somehow. Grabbing a few t shirts is a great way to do just that. Email TheWestLondonLife@gmail.com with orders.

New Podcast

You heard right. Daniel and Thomas are cooking up some silly seriousness with this one. The last year has been an intense process of hearing God’s voice, trusting Him, and taking steps of obedience. Along the way we have devoured books and articles on how to discern God’s voice. We have also sought after every perspective on people who have done this before. That’s part of what leads us to create: The Redemptive Discourse Podcast.

We wanted to hear the vulnerable stories of a team who set out to plant a church. We couldn’t find it (though it might exist somewhere!) so we decided to tell that story ourselves. That’s the podcast: Daniel and Thomas talking through what God has done, what they’re thinking/feeling, how we’re all facing challenges and overcoming the obstacles, and our daily abiding in Jesus. Simply, we’re talking about the journey of two American families moving to LONDON to plant a new church.

We want to share the story with you: the highs, lows, triumphs, and certain defeats. We hope this provides a measure of encouragement to you and emboldens you to trust Jesus with whatever He is calling you to do. Special thanks to Daniel for doing the heavy lifting of managing this podcast. This is one of the many evidences that he is a great host and a savvy thinker. You can download the podcast on Spotify and Apple iTunes.

Expect an episode every Monday.

It Takes A Team

Continued shout-outs to Ben Marsigli for absolutely killing it with many of the designs in and around this church plant. He has graciously gone above and beyond - again and again - with designs, consultations, encouragement, and a whole load of support. From the shirts, to many of the print pieces you've seen already, to this latest rendering of Daniel and Thomas - Ben can do it all!

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
