Hello September!
Our Summer Holiday Break is coming to an end. We have made some incredible memories in London over the last 9 weeks. We are settling into our home, loving our neighbourhood, and exploring our beautiful city. Here are a few things that are coming up and ways you can pray with us...
Entering School
This week, Perry and Shepherd will start school for the Autumn term. Perry will be entering Year Two and Shepherd will be entering Nursery. We will miss the quality family time time we have been able to spend together but getting back in a routine is going to be so nice. The kids will be at the same school, which is right around the corner from our house. The Lord's provision over school ceases to amaze us.
Speaking of school we greatly covet your prayers this week. Getting back into the routine of school will be an adjustment for our whole family. Perry was able to finish the Summer term of school when we moved to London. She is so looking forward to seeing friends that she made at school again. Shepherd will be in Nursery 5 mornings a week.
Pray With Us
Would you please pray with us over these things:
1. Kind and loving teachers for both Perry and Shepherd.
We have heard very good things about their teachers. We are praying both the kids really connect with their teachers and have a good transition.
2. Friends in their classes.
We know a few children who will be in both of their classes. Please pray that Perry and Shepherd will each find sweet friends early in the school year. Connecting with their peers will really help London to feel more and more like home.
3. Connecting with parents.
We are hoping to connect and become friends with the other parents in Perry and Shepherd's classes. Please pray for opportunities to connect with families and build friendships. It would be such a blessing to connect with other believing families if possible!
