Happy Thanksgiving From The West Family!

We have so much to be thankful for. God has been incredibly kind to us over the last year. This is our first major holiday away from the States and we feel it! We miss family and friends and at the same time are thankful for the new friends and routines right in front of us. The kiddos went to school today and we had Thanksgiving dinner tonight.

Here's a simple "Thank You" from us to you...

Thank You For Pointing Us To God

What a year it has been! Just five months ago we were telling family and friends "see you later" in the States and now we're acclimating to life in London. This last year had some high-highs and some low-lows. In clear and obvious ways, and even through the low-valleys - we can look back and see God's goodness and power both at work in our lives and journey as a family. God has held us together through a move across the ocean and is settling us in to this new city that we really love. Thanks to say many of you who have been quick to encourage us to keep on. Thanks to those of you who obsess in pointing us to God and reminding us of His endless grace. We are grateful to God for the love that He has shown us in this last year.

Thank You For Supporting Us

We would not be in London today without your gracious support. Just one year ago we were building a few teams: People to pray for us, support us financially, and even to move with us to London. A year later and so much activity is meaningfully underway because of your tangible partnership. Thank you for supporting us. We're making real progress in starting this new Church community, thanks to you.

Thank You For Praying With Us

We feel the distance today more than other days. It's weird how the rhythms of a holiday tend to make us feel really displaced. We wish we were with family but are also thankful for the family that God is giving us through friendships here. We are especially thankful for our friends Ryan and Ally who came over from the States to spend Thanksgiving with us! Thomas will officiate their wedding in North Carolina this summer. We're glad to be able to work through some pre-marital counseling together in person this week. Please continue to pray with us for the work that's underway and especially for the Carol Service on 14 December.

We would not be here if it weren't for so many of you - Thank You.

Now to Him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but now has been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith -- to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.
