It's been a great time away on holiday. Over the last few weeks, we spent quality time with both of our families and a full week at the beach. Today is our 11 year anniversary and we're packed and headed back to London. Here are a few updates and prayer points from us as we depart...
Time Well Spent
Words cannot express just how much fun we had over the last couple of weeks. Since our last update in Raleigh we spent time with Thomas' family in Birmingham (Alabama) and then Elizabeth's at the beach. We stayed at WaterSound Beach and loved every minute of it. These were some seriously good days. Meeting another nephew, seeing the cousins play, getting the fun in the sun - it was a seriously good time.
Prayer Points
Would you pray for our family as we're packed up and about to head to the airport? We're flying back to London this afternoon. Our good time here makes the departure all the more bittersweet. We know it's time to get back and get to the work ahead but it's just been so good being with family and friends, here. Pray especially for Perry and Shepherd as they try to make sense of the many emotions in their hearts. Please pray for us as we lead them and find that balance of sharing our own feelings while leading well.
What's Next
It's our 11 year wedding anniversary today and we're celebrating in a way that we would have never dreamed of a decade ago. We're boarding for London via Dallas in just a couple of hours. Once we're back in London we will self-isolate for 14 days before seeing friends and being able to be out and about.
