HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We spent the day taking it easy around the house as a family. We really miss family and friends this Christmas but trust that we'll all be reunited soon enough. Perry are Shepherd are doing great and the turkey is in the oven. This is us just checking in with our Christmas card to say we love you and thank you for being on the journey with us!

LOCKDOWN CHRISTMAS

Tier Four means no household mixing is allowed. We had hoped that we would be able to spend the day "bubbled up" with two other families but that was removed just last Saturday as the mutant strand of Covid is on the move.

We feel the whirlwind of emotions just like everyone else. Moments of sadness, the pull of anxiety about the unknown, and feeling content and settled - all within an hour! The human heart is deep and mysterious, no?

REDEEMER QUEEN'S PARK

Redeemer hosted two in-person gatherings this month and connected with about 90 people through those gatherings. We're encouraged by what God is doing in our midst and hopeful about what things will look like in the months ahead. Instead of gathering for Christmas Eve + Day, Thomas recorded two Bible Talks and we posted them on Redeemer's social media platforms. A surprising number of people have checked them out already. We'd love for you to have a look as well.

ENJOYING TODAY

Most memorable from the day for us (so far!) was a really good discussion over breakfast about the significance of Jesus' birth. Perry and Shepherd were able to talk about the life of Jesus and what it practically means for us today. Heartwarming and encouraging in a way that few things compare.

From all of us - Thomas, Elizabeth, Perry, Shepherd and Lulu - Happy Merry Christmas! We wish you and your family a restful and easy evening together. Thank you for your prayer and support. We love you.

UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN."
