SCHOOL IS OUT FOR SUMMER!

School broke up this past Thursday and we are officially into Summer. We're both working from home and here and there and everywhere this week and preparing to fly to the States on Sunday.

Here's what's up...

SCHOOL IS OUT

Perry and Shepherd concluded the school year on Thursday. We are so proud of Perry for finishing Year 4 and Shepherd finishing Year 1. The last few weeks have been full of all the end-of-year performances, recitals, Sports Days, and such. Next year will be a big one for both children and we're looking forward to some rest and refreshment before we get there.

School is on more of a year-round schedule here in the UK so we're just about to get started with the holiday vibes. Summer is one of the weirdest parts of living here though because we are so used to things ramping back up in August like they would when we lived in the States. Now things calm down in August and really get going again in September.

Thomas and Elizabeth are doing the work from home routine over the next couple of days as we both finish up some work and prepare to step away from it all for some holiday.

WE'RE HEADED TO THE STATES

On Sunday we'll fly to Denver to spend a few days on holiday and then we'll visit with our friends at Storyline Fellowship. Storyline was one of our earliest supporters and have stuck with us over the years. JT English is the lead pastor there and he and Thomas have become friends over the last couple of years. Thomas is really looking forward to preaching at Storyline in two weeks and we're looking forward to visiting with friends old and new out there!

After Denver we'll head down to Alabama for visits with Thomas' family in Birmingham and Elizabeth's at Lake Martin. We are really looking forward to seeing our families again!

KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR FRIDAY

We have a special 'Thank You' video that we'll post here on Friday. This was produced specifically with you in mind - our friends, family, supporters, and prayer warriors. Thank you for all of your love and support.

If you read these posts from time to time but don't really keep up with us personally then this video will really help introduce the work we're a part of here in London.

Truly my soul finds rest in God;

my salvation comes from him.

Truly he is my rock and my salvation;

he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

Psalm 62:1-2
