After two years in London we finally had our first Members Night. 26 adults coming together to be a new church community for London. Here’s more about that and what happened over the last two weeks…
A FEW BIRTHDAYS
We celebrated Thomas and Perry with birthdays over these last few weeks. Thomas clocked in at 36 (getting old) and our sweet little Perry girl is now a big 8 year old. We have all the feels!
Perry had a “spa” birthday party at our house and was able to have a few of her friends over. We painted nails, had a spa lunch in the garden, Taylor Swift dance party, and cake. It meant so much to us to see our Perry smiling and having so much fun.
TWO YEARS IN LONDON
Two weeks ago our family celebrated two years in London! So many memories, so much endurance, so many hard times. We are glad to have gotten through it and to finally be in a place where it feels like things are settled and continuing to settle. We are grateful to God for all the grace He has shown us over these last two years.
MEMBER’S NIGHT
Saturday night was one for the record books. Finally. At long last. We had our first Member’s Night. We celebrated God’s grace towards us in drawing together 26 adults. United around Jesus, theology, a shared purpose, and a desire to be a spiritual family - we had a meal, prayer, the Lord’s Supper, and sang “In Christ Alone.” We had cupcakes to celebrate and celebrate we did. What a great night. Thank you for your prayer and support over these last few years. This was a moment where it all really paid off.
