HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Easter from our family to you! We've had a good Easter weekend.

Redeemer gathered yesterday afternoon for our Easter worship gathering. We concluded a seven part collection of Bible Talks in the life of the emotions.

Elizabeth read the Easter story for the children and Thomas taught about how Jesus can remove our shame from Luke 8:40-48. We were really encouraged by the time around the Redeemer family and excited to meet a few new people as well!

This is the most important day in our calendar. If Jesus did not rise from the dead then all of this is a waste of time. If He did rise from the dead then all of this is eternally important. We are grateful to God for the gift of our Saviour: Jesus Christ.

CS Lewis said it best:

Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.

We had a few friends over to the house today to celebrate with Easter brunch. We're about to take a rest and then go for a walk. It's sunny and 65 (19!).

The kids have been out of school for two weeks (no American spring break over here) and will be back in school on Wednesday. Monday is a Bank Holiday and we're looking forward to doing some exploring with friends.

Thank you for being on this journey with us.

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.
