We just got back to London from a week with friends and ministry partners in New Orleans. We’re glad to be reunited with Perry and Shepherd and settling in to a full final few weeks of school before the summer break.
Here are a few things we’re praying for in the month of June. Join us!
REVIVE
Redeemer is getting out of town for our church weekend away with Co-Mission Network. We’ll spend two nights in Kent sharing meals, worshipping and learning, and having lots of fun through it all. There’s over 60 people signed up and we are deeply grateful for our friend James who has managed the logistics of it all so so well. Please pray for Redeemer to grow closer together in this fellowship season. Please pray that we'd hear, trust, and obey what God is saying to us as a faith family.
REACH LONDON
Redeemer gratefully runs on the prayers and financial support of its members, patrons, and friends. We’re looking forward to hosting 10 church partners in the first week of July for this special missions-conference-experience week. Please pray that we’d steward the story of God’s grace and rightly involve others in the work. We talk a lot about wanting London to be an index in peoples story and experience - we especially want that in this week. Pray that others would be inspired and motivated to hear, trust, and obey what God is saying to each of them.
BAPTISMS
Redeemer is hosting baptisms on Saturday 8 July. We only host twice a year since we meet at a school and use a portable hot tub for baptisms! We’d love to have a few come forward to publicly declare their faith in the Lord Jesus. Would you please pray that God would cause a few to step up and want to be baptised?
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Redeemer just hosted the After School Club for the second straight week and had a great turnout. Our team worked really well together and we are grateful for the ways that God is making us more and more into a cohesive team. Please pray that we’d continue to figure out how to lead events like this well. Pray for protection and safety for all involved. Pray that we’d be a blessing to our community.
FINISHING THE SCHOOL YEAR
Perry and Shepherd will finish this year of schooling at the end of July. They’ve both grown so much in the last year. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually it feels like we have some different kids than we started the year with! For our family, there will be lots of final trips to school for graduations, performances, and different ceremonies. Please pray for them to finish well, continue to connect with friends, and that they’d learn to share the love of God as God continues to work in their hearts. Pray that we’d have some rhythm as a family as we move through this final stretch before summer break. We want to enjoy God in all of this - pray for our joy!
